Time to move forward

My recent dabble with Joomla has prompted me to re-evaluate whether to use Dreamweaver to develop my applications. Now that Adobe has decided to stop working on any future versions of ADDT, I am having to find something else to use. To this effect, I have also started looking at CodeIgniter. After reading up some of the documentation and watching some videos tutorials, CodeIgniter certainly does seem to be a good alternative for me to take.

I might even consider using CI to redesign my website. But that idea is still a good way off.

JQuery is also another thing I decided to take up. Well Adobe Spry is really not going anywhere at the moment and considering it's been stuck on pre-release for the past 2 years, no point in continuing to use it for my projects. The one thing I will miss though is the way it handles XML files. Spry handles them beuatifully and I hope JQuery can offer something similar.

Finally, I am working on a design for Grafik Kaos (I am constantly doing this!).
